Marysia is president of PVH (Platform for Responsible Pet Ownership). Marysia keeps squirrels and breeds them on a modest scale. Marysia keeps the animals in the most natural way possible and animal welfare is paramount to her.

PVH represents all animal groups in the Netherlands. PVH draws up husbandry guidelines for all (groups of) species. PVH is fighting a legal battle to have the ban on keeping species that are not on the positive list overturned by the courts.

Within EUCAH Marysia, together with Floris, is responsible for starting the first initiatives for a common website.
