Floris is board member of PVH (Platform for Responsible Pet Ownership). Floris is an avid keeper of tortoises and is knowledge driven. Animal welfare is his number one priority. Positive lists that are not scientifically based and unreasonable can be thrown out as far as possible, as Floris is concerned.

PVH represents all animal groups in the Netherlands. PVH draws up husbandry guidelines for all (groups of) species. PVH is fighting a legal battle to have the ban on keeping species that are not on the positive list overturned by the courts.

Floris hopes that participants from all countries will support the goals of EUCAH and really start working together. Only then can we make a stand against the anti-holders.
